ACRONYMS and Definitions
ITM: In The Money
MTT: Multi Table Tournament
STT: Single Table Tournament
SNG: Sit N Go Tournament
LAG: Loose/Aggressive Play(er)
TAG: Tight/Aggressive Play(er)
Rake: What the house takes for poker play
Rakeback: Portion of rake returned
UTG: Under the Gun (first to act)
EP: Early Position
LP: Late Position
MP: Middle Position
CO: Cut-off: Person to the right of the dealer button, 2nd to last to act in a round of betting
Button: The "dealer". The last person to act in a round of betting
OOP: Out of Position
NL: No-Limit
Nuts: The best possible hand given the board
Flop: The first three community cards, put out face up, all together
Turn: The fourth community card
River: The fifth and final community card
AKs: Hole cards, Ace & King of the same suit or of Spades
JTd: Jack & Ten of Diamonds
A5o: Ace & Five of different suits or "off-suit"
Flop: AK4r: Flop cards Ace, King, & Four r = rainbow or all different suits
VPIP: Voluntarily Puts money In the Pot preflop (a measure of how tight or loose a player is preflop
PFR: Preflop Raise (how aggressive a player is preflop
AF: Aggression Factor (A measure of a player's aggression/passivity, which represents the player's betting tendencies after the flop)
c/c: check then call on the same street
3b: 3-bet or a reraise on the same street
4b: 4-bet or a re-reraise on the same street
AQs+, AQo+ or 88+: Ace Queen suited or better Ace Queen off suit or better, 88 or better, when referring to hole cards
